				Step-parent of adult daughter with developmental disability. Cynthia has been on WTC's board since 2004. Born & raised in California, Cynthia is married with 3 sons and 3 stepdaughters, all of whom live on their own but "visit" regularly. Cynthia and her husband moved to Durham in 2000. She and her husband were attracted to the area because they have family here. In addition, they felt there was a more positive reaction in the community to her step-daughter, who has Down Syndrome.

Cynthia worked many years as a nurse, and her husband was an airline pilot. They bought an auto parts store in Durham in 2005 and have been working at it ever since. Currently, Cynthia is taking accounting classes at Butte and learning more about running a small business.

In her free time, Cynthia loves to swim, quilt, go camping and fishing, and travel to Australia to visit friends whenever she can.			</div>
