				Karen has been with WTC since 1997. She was hired as the Human Resources Coordinator in the HR department, and she added safety officer duties in 2002. In April of 2007, Karen was promoted into the Outreach Administrator position at WTC, overseeing publicity and fundraising for the organization. In December of 2008, she was promoted into her current position as Director of Human Resources/Chief Safety officer for the agency.

Karen holds a BA degree in Communications from CSU Chico and a Masters in Human Resource Management from the University of Phoenix. Her interests include reading, movies, music, travel and being at the ocean. She is divorced and has two grown sons. She has lived in Chico since 1976.
