Andrea Moriarty

Andrea Moriarty has been with Do-It leisure, for 15 years. Her first affiliation with Do-It Leisure was as an intern in 1989. She worked in various programs from that date through 1991, when she left to work at a local rehabilitation facility as a recreation therapist. Andrea returned to Do-It Leisure’s Individualized Program as the Socialization Training and Group Social Recreation coordinator in 1997. Over the many years, she held many positions including Assistant Camp Director, Sports Instructor, Recreation Therapist, Community Coordinator, Sports Coordinator, Individualized Programs Coordinator, and most recently, was promoted to Manager of Community Services in 2009. Andrea holds a BA in Recreation Administration, with an emphasis in Therapeutic Recreation/Special Populations, from California State University, Chico. She is a also a Recreation Therapist, certified through the California Board of Recreation and Parks Certification and a member of the California Parks and Recreation Society.
