Do-It Leisure promotes wellness through leisure and encourages quality of life for persons with disabilities through utilization of personal and community resources. Do-It Leisure also furthers education of the public on inclusion of persons with disabilities in our community. The continuum of services strives to allow everyone to participate.
Individualized Programs provide therapeutic recreation, independent living skills, and individual and group social recreation. Services are tailored to meet individual needs and vary in ratio depending on the program.
Community Programs offer integrated opportunities for group activities such as camping, cultural events, monthly out-of-town excursions, dances, workshops, weekly activities, and fundraising.
Drama Extraordinare is a troupe of performers with and without disabilities. Together, members strive to transcend limitations, barriers, and prejudices through the theatre arts.
The Sports Program offers a wide variety of classes to individuals. Classes are designed to improve and enhance skills, promote health and fitness, and have fun. The program includes unified sports, which integrates persons with and without disabilities.
The Mental Health Program provides a drop-in center in Oroville with recreation, socialization, and education for adults with severe and persistent mental illness.
Do-It Leisure is a division of Work Training Center.
